Auto Claim with injuries

If you have been injured, seek medical attention immediately.  Call the police if someone is hurt, you feel threatened, there is significant damage to your vehicle or if you feel you are a victim of a staged accident.

In addition to providing the details of how the incident occurred and the damages incurred, the following will also be helpful:

• Contact information for driver, passengers and witnesses
• Insurance details of all vehicles involved

Reporting A Claim

During business hours: In the unfortunate event of a claim, please phone your Ives Insurance office and speak to one of our licensed brokers. We will gather the details of your loss, council you on the claims process, and explain how a claim may affect your insurance rates. We will then connect you directly to your insurance company claims representative to begin the claims process.

After business hours, on weekends or a statutory holiday, most claims can wait to be reported until the next business day. However, if you find yourself in an emergency situation where further damage may occur without immediate corrective steps, please contact your insurance company directly to report the claim. It is still a good idea to connect with your Ives Insurance broker the next business day to discuss what happened and seek our help in guiding you through the claims process.
